Chester Town Hall
Chester Town Hall is a grade II listed gothic revival building, built 1862-1869 by William Henry Lynn. The spire is 160ft tall.
Chester Lead Shot Tower
Chester Lead Shot Tower was built in 1799 by Walkers, Parker & Co. and is the oldest of three shot towers remaining in the UK. A lift shaft was added in 1971, and the lead works closed in 2001. At 168ft, it is the tallest structure in Chester.
Robinson’s Brewery, Stockport

Partington Railway Station
Partington Railway Station opened in 1873 and closed in 1964. The station buildings were demolished during the 1980s.

Weston POW camp
In WW2, Weston POW camp was a camp for ‘trusted’ prisoners of war. It was later used to house Polish refugees. It is currently scheduled for demolition for the building of a road.
Greenfield Mill was one of two mills operated by Robert Fletcher & Son Ltd, for the manufacture of cigarette paper. It closed in July 2001, following the closure of the company’s Stoneclough site the previous year.
Fair Mile Hospital, Cholsey
Fair Mile Hospital opened in 1870 as Berkshire County Asylum. Between then and 1900, it nearly quadrupled in capacity. It closed in 2003, transferring patients to the newly built Prospect Park Hospital in Reading.
